The Journal of Cardiovascular Medicine is a monthly publication of the Italian Federation of Cardiology and of the Italian Society for Cardiac Surgery. The Journal publishes original research articles, epidemiological studies, new methodological clinical approaches, case reports, design and goals of clinical trials, review articles, points of view, editorials, and images in cardiovascular medicine.
The Journal intends to go beyond the concept of evidence-based medicine at a regional level-critical commentary and case studies allow for variances between countries and regions. The Journal is designed to assist clinicians in making the best possible use of evidence-based medicine in primary and critical care, diagnosis, and treatment decisions.
